You will be writing and illustrating a story with a first grader.
You will begin the story by yourself and together you will finish it.
1. The storybook must have a cover with the name of the author and illustrator.
2. Use PowerPoint and Paint. (You can copy / paste your drawings from Paint into PowerPoint).
a. Draw your picture in Paint (do not use images from the internet). Do not add text in Paint.
b. When one page is complete, do the following:
In Paint: Edit ---- Select All --- Copy
In PowerPoint Edit --- Paste
In PowerPoint Resize your drawing to fit the slide and add your text in a text box.
c. Go back to Paint and start a new page and start the steps over again...
3. The story should be one that can continue for a while. Click here for suggestions.
4. The first grader will help complete the story with your assistance.
5. Be creative and have fun !!
